Endive:
Lower Left, the endive is growing great. Behind that is open pollinated indian corn. It yielded a huge crop of multicolored ears. The Red Russian kale behind the Brussels sprouts (front in center row) is also doing fine. Its a bit moisture stressed, but when the rains began two months later, it burst into new life and grew hugely before winter. Behind that is some ordinary kale you will see in another photo. It is magnificent. None of these plants were irrigated. Nor were the sunflowers.
